Our Mission:
South Yorkshire Street Cats is dedicated to rescuing, neutering, and providing essential care for street cats across South Yorkshire. Our mission focuses on finding loving homes for these animals in need.
We strive to make a significant impact by supporting cat colonies with food and insulated shelters while educating the public on cat overpopulation and the importance of neutering. Every effort helps to create a safer environment for street cats.

You can make a difference by fostering cats in need, providing them a safe and loving environment until they find their forever homes. Additionally, we welcome volunteers to help with transport runs to the vet and to assist at our events. Our Ongoing Work
We engage in numerous projects designed to improve the welfare of street cats. Our initiatives focus on rescue, education, and community involvement to encourage responsible cat ownership.
Rescue Efforts
We are working on cat colonies in South Yorkshire, focusing on TNR, which means Trap-Neuter-Return. This humane method involves trapping stray cats, neuter them, and returning them to their locations with their feeders, helping control cat population and improve their health.
Shelters
Help us support our outdoor cats by providing them with a safe refuge! Our insulated shelters offer warmth and protection from the elements, ensuring their comfort. We are committed to caring for our colony cats, and each shelter costs £80 for a double or £50 for a single. Your donations can make a significant difference in their lives, allowing us to continue this vital work together!
Adoption
